An online educational project that reveals in an entertaining way the so-called dark patterns and manipulation techniques in texts that ordinary users encounter every day.

Manipulators are furry monsters – characters that represent individual unfair tricks in communication. Thanks to them, the complex world of manipulations turns into a playful encyclopedia that teaches readers to think critically and not be fooled.

The project uses the modern scrollytelling technique and is based on generative AI tools. The uniqueness lies in the fact that it shows how, using current technologies, a generous online project can be created even in a small team or even by just one person – without large investments, but with creativity and a sense of language and design.

Manipulators are a bridge between education, creativity and ethics. They offer a new perspective on communication, where fairness is as important as originality.
